We are looking for Automation Engineer to join our growing team in Surkhandarya region, Denov city, Uzbekistan!

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Realization of studies and projects in the fields of Industrial and Technical Computing, automation, supervision and Centralized Technical Management, for Surkhandarya Drinking Water Networks project
• Realization of developments and parameterizations on programmable logic controllers, remote transmitters, supervision systems and more generally on communication equipment.
• Ensure the necessary updates (documentation, programs, backups), in compliance with the procedures in force.
• Participate in workshop tests and industrial start-up of facilities.
• Participate in the support and after-sales service activity for the areas of automation, supervision and remote management. Potentially provide the national on-call service of the estate.
• Carry out technical audits of the estate.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's in electrical and automation, and communication
• Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
• Proficiency in Uzbek, Russian, and English (written and spoken).

Special Skills/Abilities Needed:

Automation engineer with first experience in the fields of:
• Automation: Design, programming, and commissioning of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and remote transmission stations (RTUs & Dataloggers).
• Supervision: knowledge of industrial supervision solutions (SCADA).
• Telecommunications / Networks: knowledge of the principles of networked IT architectures and site connection through various communication media (TCP/IP, VPN, GSM, Radio, PSTN, etc.). Sensitive to IT security and cybersecurity rules.
• Electricity: knowledge of low-voltage installations.

• Instrumentation: domain knowledge would be a plus.
• Knowledge of water distribution facilities would be a plus.
• Method, rigor, availability, team spirit, autonomy, sense of customer service. Writing skills (technical and financial proposals, functional analysis documents, etc.).
• Strong interest in new technologies.

Contract for the implementation of Phase 1 of the project, concluded between SUEZ and JSC "Uzsuvta'minot" regarding the districts of Denau, Sariosiyo, Shorchi and Qumqorgon:

Main purpose of the contract:

• Implement digital solutions (SCADA, AQUADVANCED, GIS);
• Develop a hydraulic model;
• Improve the Non Revenue Water (NRW);
• Improve the Asset Management;
• Modernize the customer management system;
• Install mechanical meters;
• Train local specialists;
• Prepare the feasibility study (FS) and other documentation for the main phase of the 25-year PPP project.
